Today my request to retire from the Navy went up. My life as a civilian will begin in February. Now I can be sure the light I’ve seen at the end of the tunnel isn’t a freight train roaring my way.
I plan to begin work as soon as late January once I choose a job, but I’m prepared to wait longer should I need more time to find a job that suits me.
